Journal 10: Thesis and Quotes

Thesis: Despite societies roles and expectations for women in relationships, women are not obligated to abide by these roles and regulations.

-feels a bit short
-Maybe clarify what these roles are

Quotes in support of this thesis:

    I think you've done a great job. The only problem I have is with the wording of the theme.

    "Despite societies roles and expectations for women in relationships, women are not obligated to abide by these roles and regulations."

    The preposition seems redundant. How about:

    "Women are not obligated to abide by the gender and societal roles expected of them."
